We had a great time over a long weekend in February. I loved the ski-in location of the resort. The service was as expected for a Ritz Carlton – excellent. I do however, recommend skipping the buffet breakfast, it’s expensive and pretty standard fare. $32 is a lot for someone who eats just yogurt and fruit. My suggestion is drive down to town and find something else for breakfast, then come back to the resort and ski. Spago was nice, expensive, but nice – it is what you can expect at a resort – fairly good food, yet price of each entree was expensive. I don’t expect to find the value for your money at resorts in the food.

Our room was huge for two people, we had a view of the mountains. My partner surprised me with the roses on the bed thingy and we had wine – not champagne as what he expected. Housekeeping service was perfect.

Wife and I had our honeymoon here. We brought along our golden retriever, who loved the snow and got lots of attention from the staff and other guests. They were super pet friendly, which is one of the biggest reasons we chose the resort. Fantastic amenities and service from the staff. Loved the snack time in the afternoon with hot chocolate and cookies for all. Our room wasn’t quite ski-in, but darn close since we could drop our skis off at the desk and pick them up the next morning with minimum hassle. Took a ski lesson with the ski staff, who was very helpful and easy to learn from.

My wife and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch for our 33rd anniversary. Everyone on the property was welcoming and professional. We had lots of questions about the hotel’s amenities as well as about things to do in the surrounding area. The staff was patient and helpful. They actually seemed happy to help us-a welcomed change from today’s typical idea of “customer service.” Christina Stone was especially helpful, not only during our stay, but also in the planning phase of our trip! Her input and assistance made all the difference for us-she really went the extra mile. The accommodations were exceptional, but the people at the Ritz in Bachelor Gulch made our anniversary trip one we will never forget!
